Our Mission
Four Corners Yarns was founded in October 2018. Our mission is to support rural and Indigenous artists and shepherds in the Four Corners region (Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado). We accomplish this, in part, by paying fair wages to our hand spinners and fair market prices to our shepherds that provide the wool for our yarns. Our goal is to promote the use of small farm fibers from rural and Indigenous shepherds in our region.
Four Corners Yarns is a social enterprise project of Four Corners Fiber Collective, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Proceeds from yarn sales go to future mill runs and to support the mission of the Four Corners Fiber Collective, including the Flag Wool and Fiber Festival.
